Spawning System

This is the spawning/respawning system I designed and developed for my WarMarchines project.

Rather than being randomly placed around the map, players can catapult their mechs from a destroyer ship. This is heavily inspired by the catapults used in Gundam Catapult Decks and the Cabal Droppods in Destiny 2.

 

Gattling Guns

This is my design process for the Gattling Guns within WarMachine.

I modelled, designed and implemented this all on my own. They’re fully replicated and each weapon comes with its own firing animation and behavior that is unique to them.

Here I explain how I developed their aiming logic, bloom/randomized projectile paths, tracer VFX, and unique animation process.
